In Velory for Partners, you can easily invite users to your retailer account—whether they’re sales reps or administrators—and manage who can do what. This article walks you through the full flow, from sending an invite to understanding user roles.
🧭 In this guide:
Invite users
To invite new users, you need to have the Manager role.
- Go to Users in the navigation menu.
- Click Invite users.
- A modal window opens where you can enter the email address(es) of the user(s) you want to invite to Velory for Partners.
- You can invite multiple users at once by separating the email addresses with a space ( ) or a comma (,).
-
If you select the checkbox, the invited user will be assigned the Manager role. If not, the invitation will be sent with the User role. You can read more about the role differences below.
Invalid email addresses
If an email address is invalid, the field will be highlighted in red. You won’t be able to send the invitation until all invalid addresses have been removed.
When all email addresses are valid, click Send invitation. An email will then be sent to all specified addresses. Read more how to create the account from the invitation email in this article.
Tip: If an email address is still highlighted in red after you’ve sent the invitation, it means the address already exists in the system. The invitation will still be sent to the other valid email addresses.
User roles
In Velory for Partners, there are two different user roles: Manager and User. Below is an overview of the differences.
Manager
The Manager role is intended for administrators and gives access to:
- Manage list prices for customer portals
- Adjust basic partner settings
- Change permissions for existing and new users
User
The User role is best suited for sales representatives who work with pricing and product offerings for specific customers.
A user can:
- Work with customer-specific prices and products
A user cannot:
- Edit partner settings
- Change other users’ roles or permissions
Change user role
A Manager can change a user’s role by clicking on the user’s name in the user list. This opens a panel where the user role can be updated.
When you’ve selected the new role, click Save. The user will then be updated with the new role.
