The Automatic placement of distributor orders feature enables orders to be sent directly to the customer’s distributor — with no manual handling required.
It is designed to:
✅ Reduce operational overhead
⚡ Eliminate delays
🧩 Provide a more reliable and consistent way to place orders with distributors
🧭 In this guide:
How to enable the feature
This feature can be enabled per company from the Company settings.
💡 Note: You need to be logged in as a manager for the retailer account that the customer is under to be able to configure these settings.
- Go to Companies in the navigation bar.
- Search for the company where you want to enable the setting.
- Click the Settings tab.
- Scroll down to the Configuration section.
- Switch the toggle Automatic placement of distributor orders from No to Yes.
Configure order grouping
When you enable the setting, you’ll see additional options that let you define how orders should be grouped and when they should be sent.
In the Configuration section:
- Choose a grouping option.
- Select the days and times for automatic order placement.
- Click Save.
➡️ The system will now automatically group and send orders to the distributor according to your schedule.
⚠️ If automatic order placement is enabled but no grouping type or schedule is defined, orders will be sent to the distributor immediately after creation.
Grouping options
You can choose between the following grouping rules:
Base rule (always applies)
Orders are grouped if they belong to the same retailer, same company, and have the same delivery address.
Group by location
In addition to the base rule, orders are grouped separately per origin of the delivery address (Company or Location).
Even if two orders share the same delivery address, they will not be grouped if they originate from different companies or locations.
The company’s own address is also treated as a location.
Group by employee
In addition to the base rule, orders are grouped separately per employee.
Even if two orders share the same delivery address, they will not be grouped if they belong to different employees.
