This article is directed to customers that has Dustin as a partner.
When creating a company in Velory, you can add AX numbers both for leasing and for one-off, this is done in Velory for Partners.
This is how you add AX Number to an already created company:
- Sign in to Velory for Partners and go to Companies in the navigation bar. Search for the company and click on the company name to go to their profile.
- Go to the Price Settings tab and in the top you have the Dustin configuration section.
- Click on Add catalog to be able to add AX number and Catalog file.
When adding a new section, you need to fill in:
AX number: The customer's AX number
Catalog filename: Choose from available price files in the dropdown list
Contract Type: Choose if it's One-off or Leasing
Contract Length: Choose a contract length if needed (All, 12 months, 24 months, 36 months, 48 months, 60 months)
- When you are done with the settings click Save.
Important to note is that:
- It’s not possible to add both a public price file and any other non-public price file at the same time.
- It’s not possible to duplicate the configuration.
- If two different catalogs contain the same product, but with different AX numbers and same price settings, it’s not possible to create the corresponding price for it because of the conflict that will arise.
- If several catalogs contain the same product, the price of the product is based on price indicated in the catalog that was modified last. This applies to stock levels, SKU numbers, and price amounts.
- Having a product in two catalogs with different types of prices and different details does not mean that we will display different prices for this product. In fact, all catalogs always contain only one-off prices, so we use them for Velory’s one-off prices “as is”, and calculate leasing prices taking into account the one-off amount according to the catalog and the percentage of the tariff.
Limitations when a product is added in several catalogs
Case 1:
- Catalog 1.xml + AX number 12345 + price type Leasing + Contract length 24 months
- Catalog 2.xml + AX number 67890 + price type Leasing + Contract length 24 months
Both catalogs contain the same product. In this case, we won’t be able to create a 24-months leasing price because we don’t know which of the AX numbers should be associated with it.
Case 2:
- Catalog 1.xml + AX number 12345 + price type Leasing + Contract length All
- Catalog 2.xml + AX number 67890 + price type Leasing + Contract length 24 months
Both catalogs contain the same product. In this case, everything will be fine, we will create all leasing prices with the AX number 12345 except for the 24-month case, we’ll assign AX number 67890 to it as more accurate.
